Dear Friends,
It is time to put pen to paper again.
What is a friend? – A well-known person regarded with affection and loyalty (Collins English Dictionary)
Are you my friend? – maybe not yet, but I hope we will get to know each other and become friends.
I have a wide circle of friends near and far and there is nothing I enjoy more than meeting them, wherever they are recalling memories and making new friends.
Jesus had many friends – his disciples whom he chose to help him spread the “Good News”!!
The crowds who came to listen to his preaching and learn from him.
Within SPACE we all have many friends – we share food and fun with them.
These are occasions when we are introduced to new people who we pray will become new friends.
Remember the words of the popular hymn
What a friend we have in Jesus all our sins and griefs to bear
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.
Keep these thoughts in your mind. When you pray for your family and friends, do it with love and sincerity.
Yours in friendship
