Ravensthorpe with Hopton

Ravensthorpe Congregational Church opened in 1871, in 1901 they had over 200 members, some of whom are our ancestors today!

The Original Church closed in 1971, unfortunately, Dry Rot had ideas about the Church not being there! The Church that stands today opened in 1972, part of it being the Original building. This is when we became the URC.

Hopton URC joined us in 2007 after their building became too expensive to run.

We have gone from strength to strength, and have this year celebrated 151 years of there being a Church on our site. We have a lot of history, as well as the original expenditure document from the year the Congs was built and opened.
